I don’t know who gave this hotel 5 stars! Maximum 4 stars. I was given the worst room at arrival. Asked to change, then given a better room that wasn’t properly clean. Had to wait 4 hours for someone to finally clean the bathtub. Caroline was the only helpful staff. And the restaurant and bar staff were also super nice.

Great location for a first night in Namibia after a long international flight. Safe area. Close to the delightful Stellenbosch Wine Bar & restaurant.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and made our short stay feel like a home away from home. Everyone was so friendly and approachable, nothing was every too much trouble and we really enjoyed practising our Afrikaans as it had been a while! Thanks to Andy and team. The game drives were really respectful of the animals on the property and we saw so much wildlife so that was a real treat. Location is perfect for relaxation and the food was so delicious!

I enjoyed my stays at the Weinberg. It is well run and the staff is terrific. If I visit Windhoek again, I am sure to stay at the Weinberg.
