This was a very nice apartment for rent.”The Landing” is a company who rents apartments from a complex and furnishes the apartments to rent out for one night or for a month or more. Everything was spot on! Some places you rent for short term, they ask you to wash your bedding etc before leaving. None of that! It’s a very quiet community, dog park, pool. However, you cannot get help from the apartment complex with your codes etc. It’s a sublet apartment. Codes and wifi you must contact “The Landing” and not Expedia or the “Arcadia apartment office” When you check in to the Landing online, they will take you through everything. Thankfully I did screenshot each page I checked because I was never able to access their app that they ask you to download and use. You need to save the key code for the front door that you are given. Save it because everytime you need to go in the building, you must use. Then you will have a code for your apartment door. The door has a “smart door lock”. We had never seen one of these. We were totally stumped at first. They don’t explain it. It’s an all black door knob and all you need to do is touch the knob and it will light up with white numbers like a clock and you punch in the code to the apartment. You do need to turn the deadbolt away from the door jam to unlock. When you leave, make sure you deadbolt the door.

Perfect location great staff and tons around to shop and dine

When we checked in, we were presented with our cards for checking in with written room number, floor number, building name and the gate code. We went to our room, changed and went down to the pool. When we returned to change and head out to dinner, our electronic card would not open the door. All of our belongings were in the room, and we could not get in. I text the number provided and never heard back from anyone. I then called a phone number I found online. The person on the other line insisted we were in a room on the fourth floor and were at the wrong room and was rude to us. We knew it was the right room but while she was on the phone went up to the room on the fourth floor and the key did not work. She then put us on hold for a long time and finally came back, somehow unlocked the door and allowed us to enter the room on the third floor to get our belongings and move to the room on the fourth floor. She stated that the room on the third floor did not have cable which is the reason we were moved to the room on the fourth floor, only no one contacted us to let us know about the move. We were disappointed with the room as it had all the setups for a kitchen in the cabinets, but no kitchen or table to even eat at if we were to eat. We were very disappointed and will not stay at the complex again. This was supposed to be a special occasion as it was our anniversary and we were very disappointed.
