This place was perfect! Convenient to everything in Helen. You will not be disappointed. I could write a book about how much I loved this hotel for the value. It had great pricing and it was by far the best hotel my son and I stayed in all summer. He visits me every summer, and this summer we stayed in over 6 hotels/motels, this being the last. Helen is the perfect spot for a 2 day to 5 day vacation. There is so much to do in all age ranges. Book this one! There are plenty of other options, but this location and hotel quality and amenities are a win.

I was contacted from front desk that my card didn't go through. I said it did and it was already taken out of my bank account. She needed my card again and promised that she just needed it to have on file. That was concerning. Said something about the system missed something. Later on that night, we were using the jetted jacuzzi and it worked for a few minutes then pushed the button again and it went for maybe 30 seconds, then not at all. About 7:30am, we went downstairs and told the lady at the front desk what happened and she said maintenance person will be in about 8am. I said we're leaving today. As we were still eating our breakfast, (which was good) she and maintenance man said it works fine. I said it didn't last night. She said i need to do this and sometimes that and some are on a timer... I said maybe a sign with instructions would help. She said they can't put one up and they never had a problem before... Hard for me to believe! I know how to push buttons, lol! Anyway, no adjustment on room cost. Just shrugged shoulders.

Sofa bed was terrible

Sofa bed was abysmal, torn vinyl? on one corner, i was afraid to open it. The other beds seemed newer. Very convenient location, walking to town and such was easy enough.

Disappointed that they do not have handicapped rooms with two queen beds. Seems that the only handicapped rooms they have are king rooms.

Smell hit us when we entered the room. Bathroom had a lot of mildew and floor was dirty. Door beat up walls nasty. Didn't complain as we only stayed one night. We turned on a/c really low to get some of the nasty smell out. Pool area also unkept dirty. Definitely not worth the price and will not return.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was a good size but not as clean as we would have expected. Dirty linens were left on the pullout couch and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were extremely nice.

Property was decent enough. Nothing fancy. No upgrades. It was a place that was convenient to stay in at a reasonable price, with no extra frills. Staff were friendly. Didn’t like that there was a back door that did not lock allowing access to the hotel without an electronic key. Continental breakfast was nice.

Perfect for a quick getaway!

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. I can't say enough about how friendly all of the staff was; the hot cookies were also on point. The hotel was a short walk to town and there were plenty of places for us to walk to for dinner. We would stay here again.

Clean Hotel.

The hotel is off the main road and pretty much at the beginning of town coming from Cleveland, GA . Noise is not a problem. The pool was out of service for the 4 days of our stay, which was a bummer because they had a heat wave in Helen, GA of over 100 degrees with the heat index. The room was clean. The breakfast which we were told was a full breakfast was not. The apple juice was watered down and no orange juice any of the days we stayed. They had an exercise room. A washer and dryer available. There Ice machines were broke on the second and third floor which needed cleaned badly. The Non smokers were greeted by smokers as you entered or exited the front doors due to having the smoking area right by the front doors. Poor design. The hotel is walking distance to the river rafting places, along with a good selection of restaurants. Walking is your best option unless you want to pay 10.00 each time you go downtown to shop or eat.
