My husband chose Julian Price house for our anniversary getaway. He also looked at high-end hotel offerings. IMO he made an excellent choice! Beautiful, indoors and out. Having a love for architecture, the home and renovations are exquisite. Book with photos and narrative gives an historical perspective of the home and renovation process. There are also books detailing the history of Greensboro during the original construction period. We enjoyed the common areas and the manicured gardens/ outdoors. The home is centrally located if you are visiting Greensboro. Host was very accommodating and all areas were clean and welcoming. Highly recommend! Hope to visit again.

Beautiful in every way!

We only stayed at La Quinta for one night but it was very pleasant. Very spacious and clean and good smelling. We had a nice big window that faced into the little garden area outside. The bathroom was nice and spacious as well. There is an outside pool and I think a hot tub too. It was closed since it was night by the time we settled and ate so we didn't get to use it but it looked big and clean. There was a tavern next door but they closed kinda early (around 9 or 10 ish I don't remember) so other travelers pulling in late might not be able to take advantage. There is plently of other good food options within a few minutes drive. Breakfast was inlcuded and was pretty nice. There was also a snack vending machine, a drink vending machine and an ice machine of course. The parking lot is very big and the hotel has a few side doors you can unlock with your keys which is very convenient.

Great place for a weekend getaway

Clean rooms and good breakfast

Very disappointed in my 5 night stay. Staff is rarely at Front desk, complimentary breakfast was available (7-10:00am) although by 9:30am the eggs were dry and unkept. I noticed 2 days in a row both trash receptacles were overflowing in breakfast area, and main seating area. Surprised the ice machine only available on first floor in a 4 floor hotel. Although laundry machines are available on each floor, I was told "we are out" every day I asked to purchase a box of laundry soap. No response as to when it would be restocked. I had to purchase it myself. Biggest concern: My last evening I was able to do one large load of laundry, when I went to take it out of the dryer it was so hot. I couldn't even get my face near the clothes. I waited a minute and then as I was pulling my clothes out, they were extremely hot and the metal button on a pair of pants burned my wrist and I still have a blister( if that were a child, can't even imagine). I took photos. I don't see where I can upload them. Dryer vent not attached and stuck behind the dryer, bent severely, so all of the lint was flying in the laundry room, was filthy. Doesn't look like it was checked at all. Day 3, I requested my room to be cleaned & spoke to a hotel assoc. in the hall. I came back that evening my room had never been cleaned. Let front desk know, assoc. said "sorry". Cleaned next morning. Only positive: Lobby was always in great shape.
