The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the room was not clean and had a strong smell of tobacco. Additionally, a neighboring guest was frequently smoking right outside the door, which made the stay less comfortable. Need deep rénovation.

If you can handle cigarette smoke, little pet hair in the room, it’s good. I feel like I’m choking with cigarettes smoke. The bedding was clean, and crisp. The room itself was clean, the bathroom, water temperature all okay. It was a comfortable night sleep, for a quick overnight, I recommend.

Horrible

The place is really runned-down. Very dirty, room was crowded with old, destroyed and dirty furniture. The door barely opened/closed. Curtains are falling apart. The mattress was horrendously worn out to the point that springs were making sounds on their own at night. The bathroom was cleaned to the extent it could be, because the installations are just so old and have accumulated so much tear and wear that it was just standing on its own by chance. People leave dirty clothes and garbage on their porch, it is just a really low budget place, although it was even that cheap either.

It’s very quaint. It’s worth the $100 we spent but you’re not getting a 5 star anything and you shouldn’t expect to. It’s a small family owned inn and it has good ac, a super cold fridge, a big tv that you can hook all your devices to, comfy beds and you’re safe and sound. It’s in a very quiet part of Burlington JUST outside Hamilton.

Honestly the staff were great. My previous stay there was uneventful as one always wants, however my second stay, the gentleman at the counter remembered not only me ,but the room i had been in and a corny joke i had made. Very attentive and i felt like more than just a customer.

After finding dead bugs in my bed I was not refunded. The staff person at the time refused to lean over the bed to see what were clearly very tiny dead bugs. I was told pest control would determine if there was a problem or not and that I would be called with the verdict. I was not called. I had to call many times to speak to the owner who then accused me of staying in the room for 2 hours and then leaving for no apparent reason. She refused to hear that there were bugs in my bed. This hotel has a problem with bugs and lack of accountability.

Great stay overall. But hair on a bathroom floor from previous stay(s) and a dead bug stuck inside the old web by the floor heater that you just can’t miss definitely ruined it. Made us question how clean (unclean) everything else was. Friendly stuff. Easy check in/check out. Convenient location.
