Clean. But terribly designed. Although the room was spacious, both the toilet AND the shower were jammed next to each other in a confined space like a closet.The toilet was placed parallel to and only a few inches from the shower wall, making it almost impossible to even sit on it comfortably and be able to practice proper hygiene. In addition, there was NO ventilation, no vent to eliminate the steam or the "stink"! There was no air conditioning in the room, so when we tried to open the windows and pull back the cheap shades to let some air into the stifling room, two of the four shades just fell off the rails and landed on the floor! The rails were so high we couldn't get the shades back on them, and upon calling the front desk for help, we were told that " this happens all the time" but there was no one who could come fix them because there was only one person on duty amd he was manning the front desk! This was in the early evening and passersby could look right into our room! To make matters worse, there was a giant piece of equipment in a fenced enclosure right outside our window that ran all the time, at such a high volume that it was impossible to sleep. Only one side of the bed/mattress was comfortable; the other was slanted towards the floor, as in "tilted. We were given no information when we checked in regarding the amenities of the facility, nor was there any in the room or on the info channel in the tv.
