POSITION is everything for this place. Literally ON the beach! The hotel itself is too old and too poorly maintained. The staff IS nice and trying to compensate, but there's only so much that they can do... We stayed for 4 nights that included the Labor Day weekend. On the third day our ground floor room flooded from the ceiling, the water was coming down fast and cascaded over my husband's suitcase and laptop. Thankfully we were in the room and asked for help as it was happening, but it took a while... Eventually we got moved to a front beach room but the beach day itself was wasted. We asked for an extra night to compensate, but all we got was $40 worth of lunch on the premises. The second room where we spent the last 2 nights had a nice view of the beach but also... red roaches!! We did our best to enjoy the beach, but all in all it was NOT a worry-free vacation, to say the least.

This was a very nice apartment for rent.”The Landing” is a company who rents apartments from a complex and furnishes the apartments to rent out for one night or for a month or more. Everything was spot on! Some places you rent for short term, they ask you to wash your bedding etc before leaving. None of that! It’s a very quiet community, dog park, pool. However, you cannot get help from the apartment complex with your codes etc. It’s a sublet apartment. Codes and wifi you must contact “The Landing” and not Expedia or the “Arcadia apartment office” When you check in to the Landing online, they will take you through everything. Thankfully I did screenshot each page I checked because I was never able to access their app that they ask you to download and use. You need to save the key code for the front door that you are given. Save it because everytime you need to go in the building, you must use. Then you will have a code for your apartment door. The door has a “smart door lock”. We had never seen one of these. We were totally stumped at first. They don’t explain it. It’s an all black door knob and all you need to do is touch the knob and it will light up with white numbers like a clock and you punch in the code to the apartment. You do need to turn the deadbolt away from the door jam to unlock. When you leave, make sure you deadbolt the door.

Our 3 night stay at Osprey on the Gulf was absolutely lovely! The view of the beach from our room was spectacular, the room was clean and well maintained, the little kitchen was perfect size to allow us to make a small meal, and just overall a lovely place to stay. The property is extremely clean and there is always staff around keeping things tidy and being friendly and helpful. The little bar downstairs is super cute, but something that we found really thoughtful is that the bar closes down quite early so guests have quiet at night. Call me old, but I thought that was nice. You can rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach for a reasonable daily price. The pools are clean and sparkling and very refreshing! There’s a hot tub, but my sunburn said NO! so I can’t say it was great… but it sure looked like it would be. I’ve got nothing negative to say about this sweet little property, and would definitely say it’s worth a visit!

Perfect location right outside of Pier Park area so easy to get in and out of Condo! Beach access! Room looked exactly like the pictures! Amazing experience! Will definitely be back!! Everyone down to the other tenants and guest were amazing! Wish I was still there!

Everything was clean , and exactly how it was supposed to, the only disappointment was any of the 3 tvs work! We call and they supposed to sent somebody to fixed it and never went, and no blender .
