I have stayed here before and it is just as terrific as I remember. It got a tad expensive and I stayed at other places in Gorham but none can compare. So I came back! Very quiet, comfortable and with good amenities. Plus the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We did not notice that this room was a roadside room. It is only about 20 feet from a highway and the traffic noise made it very difficult to rest. We will have to check twice on Expedia room descriptions in the future. Of course if I had seen this description I am not sure I would have figured that it was so close to the highway. Additionally the manager was very good about offering us a complimentary upgrade to a “quieter” room but it was only 50 feet from the highway so we declined since it meant moving all of our luggage.

Usual motel setup. Reception staff were helpful with local advice. Noise from other guests and their vehicles was intrusive. But very convenient for touring the White Mountains. No onsite catering.

Although the room was super clean the window shades did very little to mask the breezeway lights. The eco-friendly toilet had to be flushed several times to flush normal tp usage. The bed was very firm and for me it was uncomfortable others might enjoy it though. Great restaurants were within walking distance! There was plenty of parking and the proprietor was very pleasant!

It’s a motel, but that said, it’s in top notch condition! Towels and sheets are top grade, bathrooms, pool and facilities are modern and spit spot clean. Large fridge and microwave in the room. If only they would serve breakfast.
