"Anniversary stay"
My husband and I were there celebrating our 30th anniversary. It was our 1st visit to Gloucester and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is beautiful and it was a bonus to have the rooftop pool and hot tub open. Even if the weather is cool(only 50 when we were there) don't hesitate to get up there and use it. We grabbed our robes from the room, some beer and wine and spent about 2-3 hours up here on both afternoons. Our slider screen came out of its track and it did take them until the next day to come up and fix it but we used the balcony regardless. Also for a new hotel I can't believe there are no fans in the bathroom. Someone dropped the ball on that one. We ate at 1606 on our anniversary. The food was very good and did not find the prices outrageous for a hotel. Also enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit with a glass of the. The spot is beautiful and there are plent of restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Love the beautiful tulips all along our walk to stage fort park. Hope to return in the fall.

"One of the best hotel experiences."
Great free breakfast that included 2 types of quiche. Coffee and cookies available. Free water bottles. Each room faces the water and has either a patio or balcony. Their staff are always there to help if needed and are most accommodating. The room was very clean with updated bathroom. There is a heated outside pool and also a hot tub. In another area there is a charcoal pit. Bicycles are available to ride. This is definitely where I will stay again when I am in Gloucester.

"Lovely harbor overlooks the boats"
We came in late and left early for a sailing voyage but it looked like a lively place with lots to do if you like that or quiet walks if you like that. Looks like boats anchor there and spend the night. Nice rooms not opulent

It was a great stay, good staff, excellent pool. The shaw's shopping is close, beach is also near. Room cleanliness was good, I will certainly recommend to my friend. Only one minor issue was bathroom door lock was not working so it was a challenge with my 1 yr kid :)

Gloucester is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Gloucester, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Gloucester hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
