Clean and well maintained overall. AC unit a little noisy at times. Great location and price overall.

It was interesting, a bit creepy given its history.They simply do not provide a level of service to warrant the price. The restaurant wasn’t open. The bar, even when there were only four other customers, took half an hour to get a glass of wine. Snail pace service, grounds need work, amenities are nearly non-existent. The staff were very nice, but not properly trained or up for the task. The history is interesting, but very sad. Over embracing the asylum backstory makes the guests uncomfortable.

Great stay at the hotel. Although the neighborhood is sketchy at night. Had 2 different incidents where sketchy individuals tried to get my attention. The first to ask for directions and do I know my way around the neighborhood? Second, strange couple, tall black man and young white woman in a wheelchair. Both were trying to initiate contact but I am from NYC so I was able to easily handle that, but others should be aware. Also the next morning I was awakened by 3-5 children using the hallway as their playground by some unscrupulous parents. When I called downstairs, they immediately sent security and it was taken care of.

All-around good hotel. Reasonably priced.

The pool was a lot of fun! There is even pool toys and stuff for kids to play with. My family loved the house. The beds were super comfortable and the room darkening curtains were so great. My family was very comfortable here!
