Breakfast was sausage link, scrambled eggs, dry oatmeal you could make, cereal, a banana, little muffins. No plates, only bowls. But it was better than nothing. Waffles would have been nice. Hotel was clean, employees were friendly. Would stay again.

This was an amazing place to stay! My husband and I throughly enjoyed it! Our only complaint would be not enough outlets and they were in really strange places. But definitely a beautiful and peaceful stay

This hotel has a “virtual” front desk. The door access code they emailed us did not work. Nobody was available on property to help us. There was a ph no to call for help. It took quite a while to reach a human voice that could help us get into our room. We were left stranded outside in 100 degree weather for a good 30-45 minutes waiting for someone to get the code to work. Once we got in we found the A/C wasn’t working. I worked the control panel for a while and finally got it to work. The room was clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was good. Something that scared us was the wood balcony railing was rotted wood with white paint over it. The wood staircase leading down to the lake also was in the same condition in some parts. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. One of the amenities that they touted in their brochure handout was a soft drink machine that was available to guests that dispensed soda pop for a buck a can. It was broken. It had a note attached to it that said “Machine Broken”. The note was weathered and deteriorated making it very hard to read. Which told me the machine has been broken for quite a while and they haven’t done anything about it. Their candy/potato chip vending machine was virtually empty. It only had a few items to select from. They do have an institutional-sized ice machine that worked well. Other than that it was okay.

Home away from home house in a beautiful wooded area. Comforting home with chickens and deer nearby, for a relaxing time visiting with family.
