The staff was good. The motel is old, but the room was clean but small. The liquid soap dispenser in the small shower would not dispense the soap even though it was full, I always carry a spare soap bar with me. There was no hair dryer, so my wife had wet hair after washing her hair. The pool looked clean, but it's not heated so we did not use it. The motel needs a suitcase stand, we had to put one suitcase on the only chair in the room and the other suitcase on top of the desk. We stayed on Oct 30, 2025 for one night only. The area around the motel was fine and it was quiet. I would not stay here again.

The manager was a saint. Helped me get my refund on a duplicated reservation. Always there when needed. The breakfast choices were limited but very nice considering there was no charge. Gila Bend is tucked away so not a place with the kind of things you expect in Tucson or Phoenix and that's OK. The ability to rest before moving on in a quiet, safe, place with a great attitude meant the world to my sister and I. We will stay there every time we are passing through Arizona.

Parking is excellent at the Palms Inn. The owner/managers are exceptionally, friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler, I had stayed at the Palms Inn four times. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the air conditioning is perfect.

Very nice staff at check in. Had the air running for us on a very hot day. Lots of tv channels and you can walk to a good local pizza shop. Worked out great for our stopover for the night.

Clean room, quiet area, good parking. A nice place to stay in Gila Bend. Good A/C. The only criticism I have is that the soap dispenser in the shower was dirty. Did not want to use it. Other than that, I would stay here again.

when I drove up to the hotel, my initial reaction was "I may have made a mistake booking this motel, let's say there's not much curb appeal. However, we must not judge a book by its cover. The rooms are small, clean and good A/C as it was 102 degrees. Overall, a good little motel and with a reasonable value

Great overnight stay.

Assuming this is just an overnight stay, since there is little to do in Gila Bend, this hotel gets the job done. No frills, but a clean room, cool AC, and comfortable bed. Things to be aware of to improve your stay. 1. Ask for wifi password. I was not given one so used my phone's hotspot for computer. 2. Make sure refrigerator is plugged in if using. I put water bottles in fridge for cooling and was disappointed to find them warm in the morning. Other than those minor inconveniences, I got a good nights rest and enjoyed my stay.
