The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think.  The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful.  The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel.  I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance.  I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant.  The food was good and the staff very friendly.  My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars.  Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish.  But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun.  And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days.
