The staff at the hotel was wonderful and the beach was great. Chairs for rent was a plus on the beach in front of hotel Food was good at the hotel. The actual hotel is old but rooms have been updated somewhat. No daily cleaning service. The area in front and around the hotel was busy. I would not let my teenagers walk around after dark but there are plenty of places to uber too. Pools and lazy river are small and a little cloudy.

The staff was nice. I did like how they tried to keep an eye on things by the pools as well. I did not like how one elevator was broke the whole time and there was no ventilation in the elevators. I also did not like how a lot of the machines in the arcade were broken and half of the arcade was extremely hot with only one fan running. The ac in our room worked but was having a hard time keeping up and half the room stayed hot. The coffee was expired and the coffee pot was really nasty. I couldn't use the toaster without it burning the bread even on the lowest setting and it setting the alarm off. There was not very good directions in the park garage either. The pool was nice outside but the inside pool should be heated, it was freezing even in the heat of the day. The hot tubs were small but great. All of the guests I talked with were nice too, which made it fun. I was not a fan of the small pillows and did not like the stain on the side of our bed. Mostly the trip was very nice but I do think I will stay somewhere else next time we go.

Arrived at check in to find that no room was available at this resort and we would need to stay at another (very different vibe) property owned by Sands a block up the road. It felt very “bait and switch”. We booked and paid for a more expensive, quiet, room and ended up at a high rise, party hotel. We were told that there was an AC problem with our booked room and that it would not be fixed until after the 4th. They said they had no other options except the same size room in the different “resort”. Our family were in a room at this listed resort (Sands Beach club) in a timeshare. Beware.

The main desk staff are clueless, couldn’t answer the basic of questions ! the room was old and a joke! Speaking of a joke the pool was just a tad bigger than blow up toy ! The lack of 4th July activities was also shameful. Other then that we checked out a day early to get out asap

Only 1 parking spot at townhouse. Foul smelling dishwasher. No soaps to wash dishes. Expecting more for the $300+ per night.
