The rooms are NY style, meaning they are small. But they were perfect for just the two of us, especially because we are shorter. The location was nice and away from things. Since we mainly used it just to sleep, this perfectly met our needs. Nice staff. Rooms were clean. Showers were hot. Each room had its own hot water, which was a nice feature.

Orca Inn is clean, cozy and comfortable walking distance (half-mile) into central Friday Harbor. We were substantially delayed by a ferry service problem from the mainland (one of the larger vessels had to be taken out of service) when we were unable to reach the Inn by phone despite repeated attempts. Against all odds, we managed to catch one last midnight sailing and arrived at the Inn at 2 a.m., to be instantly greeted at the front desk and into the room right away. Thanks!

Sad little place on low end of price scale. You get what you pay for. Tiny room ( bed only accessible from one side and head against refrigerator so all night heard motor running), key to outside door would not work, no coffee or hair dryer in room, limited desk hours so couldn’t get dryer in morning when found none on room, limited hot water. Was clean and good check-in person.

I didn't realize the office closed at 9:00 PM and arrived shortly after that time. However, the gentleman at the office kindly stayed late to check me in. I truly appreciated his help, though I felt a bit guilty about it. I apologize! Our room was cozy and charming. We only stayed for one night, so I don't have much to say. However, we all enjoyed the room.

This was the worst hotel my husband and I ever stayed in for their was no headboard to keep your pillow on the bed so my husband layed sideways with his feet hanging off of bed and I had to lay sideways also so he layed his head against the wall.The bed only had 2 pillows went to office asked for 2 more they stated they may not have any more. They brought one pillow to us that had yellow stain marks all over pillow slip.I used microwave for 4 minutes and it was so hot on outside side panel that a child could burn themselves Next to bed. The width of room was so small my husband sideways was wall to wall touching for his height and we paid over 175.00 for room..Shame on them . The list goes on and on and they do not make coffee until 8am.
