Great Place to Stay

It was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and accommodating. It's the perfect location, super convenient to the MacDonald Observatory and Davis Mt St Park and right in between Balmorhea and Marfa

Pete and his wife are always willing to work with me on room choices and take care of us when we are staying there. It's a perfect place for us to stay when in Ft. Davis. I know it's an older motel, and it's evident they do try to keep up with it's cosmetic needs and repairs. The staff are very nice and make the effort to provide excellent service. I feel that for the area and the cost the room definitely met my personal needs.

The unit was clean and decent. They have the ice machine outside of the main office. It is close to restaurants and Fort Davis historic site and Davis Mountain State Park. We enjoyed our stays. Highly recommend.

The owner was really nice and pleasuring speak with. He even spoke perfect Spanish! The place was comfy for our family of 3. Perfect location for us to drive up to the McDonald Observatory Friday night then not far from our drive To Balmorhea Saturday morning. They offered breakfast too and ice! The room was really nice and it looked like it’s had upgrades. Very nice, we’d definitely stay again!

We had a great time at Fort Davis Inn. The area was very clean and fantastic for taking pictures of the starry sky ,they have a picnic area w/ a bbq pit as well. The location to Balmorhea pool, Fort Davis National Park and Mcdonald Observatory was very convenient. The staff were very welcoming and had a decent breakfast available . Can't wait to come back!"
