The remote for the tv never worked correctly. On top of not turning the TV on or off went to the front desk twice could only change the channels down and then it would loop all the way back again could never make the channel changer change upward also down where our car is bark, my wife saw a big butcher knife, sitting on top of an air conditioner. We thought it was strange but the next morning we got up and left back home.

Very nice hotel. Clean…seemed new.

Staff were incredibly helpful- talk to Jakey at the Restaurant, great guy‼️Thankful for accommodating our requests.. Would highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. Definitely will return on our next road trip. Thanks to all the amazing staff and their hospitality

First room they gave us wasn't cleaned and when arriving at the door was screamed at by housekeeping in arabic(?) I had no clue what he was saying to us but he made a phone call and pointed back to the lobby, followed us to the elevator and was trying to tell my husband and I to go down and the children stay with the bags (that wasn't happening!) Got to the front desk got a new room which wasn't what I booked/paid for so they brought a rollaway bed in and it had yellow stains all over it, requesting new bedding took over 4 hours; All the bedding and towels had stains. We asked for additional towels since there was 4 of us and our room had 3 towels in it and they said there are no clean towels available in the hotel. Also no remote for the tv. At check out I gave them our key said we were leaving and the guy was rude and yelled at me for bothering him and they just leave the keys in the room. I believe people live at this hotel (the entire 5th floor), always groups of people smoking weed outside the door and going through the trash cans (government assistant housing) someone was actually arrested in the parking lot on the other side of the building while we were leaving for dinner. Thankfully it was just an air conditioned place to sleep while there for the race. Definitely added to our do not stay list though if we ever return.

Great place to stay. Had a clean room, pool was awesome, and Wellsboro is just a great little town. People at the motel were all nice. Will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was being removed an hour early. Everything else was very solid.
