Lovely sized clean room Bed really comfy, plenty of pillows. We can honesty say, the breakfast was by far the best we've had in a hotel and we have stayed in a lot of hotels in the last 30 years. The food was plentiful, perfectly cooked and hot. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The young man, James on reception when we arrived was a pleasure to deal with. He went out of his way to help us and make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Hotel was lovely. Staff so lovely and helpful. Couldn’t do enough. Especially young Tom on the bar and James on reception. The ladies too. Didn’t catch all their names. It’s in a lovely hidden location near the canal. Very picturesque. Our room was spacious and comfortable and clean. We had a swim. Pool was warm. Small, but big enough for a swim. Nice breakfast and plentiful. Again, staff were lovely and friendly. We look forward to staying again in the near future.

The only thing missing from the breakfast offering was pineapple! But overall we were very impressed with our first stay in a UK Holiday Inn, from the warm welcome at reception and the exceptionally clean room (nice touch was the handwritten welcome note on the bedside cabinet) to the standard of meals at dinner and the overall feel of the hotel.
