My initial experience with the property was great, which is why I returned and even referred others. Unfortunately, my second experience was completely different. I was charged a deposit specifically to hold my room, but when I was able to check in, I was told the room had been given away. Had I been clearly informed in advance that paying the deposit did not guarantee the room would be held, I would have made other arrangements. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. The property blamed Expedia, while Expedia pointed back to the property, leaving me without a resolution despite having been charged to secure the reservation. The property was also extremely inflexible and not completely transparent about its policies up front. This was particularly disappointing after having such a positive first experience and recommending the property to others. I am requesting that Expedia review what occurred, including why I was charged to hold a room that ultimately was not held for me.

The room service was good. We got no discount voucher as promised for anything. The refrigerator was never stocked. We booked for 3 and only got 2 bottles of water at any given time. They were short on towels and rags. No valet service was available to assist with our bags in the morning of our departure as they do not have any available for early hours. The outlet mall was not bad but most stores were unoccupied so the selections were extremely limited. When we wanted to book our tours, that desk was unmanned several times before we actually got through.

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast options were good, and the most important part for me was the airport shuttle, same was on time. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

I had such a tranquil experience at this resort. Jovany is amazing and so helpful! It was my first time in Panama and this place welcomed me and it felt like home. I am definitely coming back. My secret sanctuary ❤️❤️

Arrived at ny 12 noon check in per my registration with a couple of bags of perishable items to cook over the stay. Once I arrived I was told that they do not do check in until 3 PM. I showed them that the check in per my reservation was at 12 noon and that I had purchased food that could not sit in a hot car for three hours. I was told that they would expedite the room cleaning and inform me soon on the check in. I returned in 45 minuted and there was another associate there that stated that they would not be checking me in until 3 PM. I again told them about the perishable items and my check in time being 12 PM and they told that was not their problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor and then had to drive to another building to speak to him. After another 45 minutes of speaking to him to figure out what to do I was allowed to put items in the refrigerator of the room. 1 1/2 hours of ny food sitting in my car in the hot son. They finally allowed me to enter the room at 3 PM even though my check in time was 12 noon. The hot water also did not work in the master bedroom although it was fixed 1 hour before my check out time.
