Room and bed very comfortable. Problem with heating, but fan heater provided for our stay and heating programme reset which worked at times. Breakfast excellent and staff very welcoming. Opted to pay for parking at hotel but could have parked free across the busy road. Evening meal taken in hotel on our second night was good. Very little atmosphere in Ocean Terminal other than the RoyalYacht Britannia which is not to be missed.

The rooms were too small. The walls were so thin we could hear a conversatiion in the room next to us at midnight. The elevator was slow. My wife got stuck in it once when it stopped between floors on her. A fire alarm at 2:30 am was the fourth one after midnight for the month. The food area was small, crowded, and noisy. The menu had little on it to choose from. The morning manager accused me of jumping the breskfast cue one morning. I did not. He told me I had to leave the table I was sitting at. He did relent though. We were there for 4 nights, other than a change of towels and rolls of toilet paper once, our room got little attention from the staff. Overall though, the cleaning staff did keep the hotel very clean. That was a great thing. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Quiet atmosphere of Suberb outside the busy city with a convenient easy to use tram and on the route of the hop on hop off tour bus. Great place to stay for a couple of days exploring the city. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold and was typical of continental breakfasts offered by large chain establishments.

Surrounding area easily accessible, links into city centre easy and value for money. Room was clean and staff were available and helpful at all times. In my opinion the breakfast was not value for cost of room. Dining room staff were helpful at all times but food was not best quality, fuit juice, eggs, lack of fresh coffee, purely instant from a machine.

rooms were not cleaned mold on bathroom floor beds never made. Did get clean towels. slippery shower no phone in room no dressers no refrig or even ice bucket. Had to get a glass of ice from bar. Limited bar choice. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. No issue with staff at desk. Disappointed with this Holiday Inn Express stayed at others far nicer
