Had a lovely, easy, quiet stay at the Spring Garden, and will stay there again when I am back in the area. Like most motels on the Cape this is an old property, but it's well maintained, clean, and comfortable, and the views from the room of the estuary behind the building are magnificent.

I loved the garden view. It was the nicest thing about the motel. It needs to be updated with everything. I’m sure it would be really expensive. The owner was very nice and helpful. The pathways were a problem especially if you have some trouble walking. I really loved the view. It was unique.

Price and cleanliness A-OK

Reservation and check in was easy. Room was very clean but could use updating (paint, lighting, etc). The price was right for a one night stay prior to our week long rental in Orleans.

Late arrival

I arrive late in the evening, driving in from Bradley International. The inn contacted me while I was on the road to ask when they could expect me. Since it was going to be after 9 p.m., when the office closes, they gave me instructions on how to find my room and left the door open for me. Very cute and cozy room. Woke up in the morning to discover the beautiful setting. Unfortunately they were booked solid for the next few days, or I would have spent a second night there.
