I arrived around 03.00 after a long flight. The hotel is not easy to find in a maze of narrow streets with security barriers and a mass of human activity. Two men on reception were helpful and courteous. The building is old and tired in the old quarter and it shows. The carpet was dirty and stained, not somewhere to place bare feet. The bathroom was clean and may have been refurbished recently. The bedsheets were clean. There was no view, the windows opaque, one cracked. I needed sleep and got some. Then, I left, planning never to return. They try hard in difficult conditions to provide decent accommodation.
