"Nice motel."
Nice motel. Relatively new, clean, well maintained. Front desk staff completely lacking in any social graces. Smiling and saying good morning, good afternoon or good evening is asking for too much. The hotel maids were the only adults who smiled at and acknowledged the guests.

The place needs up-grading. We only stayed here because all other motels were full. You get what you pay for. The basics.

"Ok hotel for one night. "
The room we had, though old fashioned looking, was clean and offered extra amenities such as separate eating area with fridge, microwave, dink. Perfect for anyone wishing to spend several nights. But PLEASE have windows that open to aerate the room & get rid of the musty smell...

"Natural Environment"
This was a nice place to stay, the only complaint I have is that there was no HOT water in number 4. It was too late to change the room. We tried both faucet nozzles in the shower, ran them both for over 5 minutes but still no hot water. This would have got a higher score if the hot water worked.

"Too far away for the Bisbee pride action."
When we got there (3:00 PM on 6/16/17) it was 90 degrees in the house. I had to start making calls/texts. The owner lives in San Diego but there is a Bisbee woman that oversees the place for here. The A/C went out & didn't get fixed until 8:00 PM! It was miserable!!! The owner said she would send me a check for $35.00, for our dinner, which I finally received on 7/9/17. This was for 3 adults. The next morning 2 women knocked on our door. They were wondering how to get to the back (a studio rental). We told them. A few minutes later another knock. They couldn't get in their key lockbox. I opened it for them. A few minutes later another knock. The key didn't work. They had to use my phone to call the local lady. Come to find out the wrong key was placed in the lockbox. Plus, the 2 women were under the impression that they had rented our house & NOT the studio! Plus, they were given no information on the local woman & contact info. They really need to get their stuff (insert another word here) together.

"Charming and authentic slice of the Ole West!"
The hosts and guests were fascinating folks, making an overnight stay something quite memorable. The food was outstanding, and this is an amazing value considering that all meals are provided. Next time, I hope to have time to ride. The owners take the time to consider each guest's needs. I would heartily declare that their dream of having a successful guest ranch and lodge in a scenic Western locale has been fulfilled!

"Can't recommend enough "
A friend and I rented a suite for the weekend. The room was much nicer than anticipated and exceeded all expectations. The suite is more a small apartment than a hotel room.

"Depends on what you are looking for"
If I was looking for 'an experience' I would go back again. It's a really cool place. As an overnight stop it's just ok. The difference between a craft beer and a Budweiser.

The Inn At Castle Rock

"Funky old place with a lot of character"
The Inn At Castle Rock is a century old wooden structure in an historic mining town. It's friendly, funky, and has loads of character, but it's not your usual hotel. I can't recommend it for guests expecting the generic sort of visible it from the interstate cookie cutter accommodations. It feels like a cross between a hostel, B&B, and museum. If you want some historic adventure to accompany your visit to Bisbee, Arizona, you'll be fine. My four star rating is for the relaxed traveler with eclectic tastes.

Douglas is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Douglas, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Douglas hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
