Beautiful historic hotel! Staff were excellent except we were sold the most expensive bottle of wine on the menu with dinner. The waiter (head waiter) did not give us on option even though we asked for the wine list. A wee bit snooty from what we are used to but a great value as an amazing breakfast was also included with our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and though basic, it's comfortable, clean and very good value. The beds are the perfect hardness though a pillow menu would be a bonus.
There's an excellent choice for breakfast. The bar is too unpleasant for a non-smoker and the main restaurant is twice the price of local ones. At least, you can get a glass of wine here which you can't outside hotels.
I usually come for 3 or 4 nights on business and doubt I would stay anywhere else next time.

Beautiful riad with great food.
Right on the edge of the medina so location is spot on.
Staff and owners courteous and helpful in all matters.
Some very sumptious rooms, but the simpler rooms very comfortable and perfect for solo guests. Busy in high season - so be prepared for the sound of running children.
Tetouan is often overlooked, but a delightful stop off if coming from Ceuta.

For the price i paid for 11 nights i was so impressed by the cleanness general position of the place. i have been to some very expensive hotels in morocco and in england and to be honest this was by no means inferior, what so ever. i would definitely recommend this to anyone, the staff were lovely, cleaners are excellent. car park is ample, WiFi is free but really slow so only for emails n stuff really, family friendly atmosphere, can use the swimming pool at the next door ibis, no smoking either, they would ring a taxi for me whenever i wanted.
ah this is an issue, im guessing people who want to come to tangier/tanger would like to go and spend their days in the centre of tanger its 16km away so thats a 150dh dirham taxi ride so thats £15 a day one way so can get quite expensive, so pay a little more for your hotel and stay in the city.....

A clean simple room in a well organised affordable hotel. The access to the hotel off the main road to Tangiers airport at first seems challenging as it is busy but the traffic lights allow for a safe entry to the carpark. It is only 5 mins to the airport so really good for early flights.
