I loved my recent stay at the K&K Hotel Elisabeta in Bucharest. I initially liked the pictures of the hotel and the fact it was not on a busy main street. My like for the hotel grew the longer I stayed. Yes, a little off the beaten track, but only by about 1 block. I found the hotel central to everything I wanted to see and do in Bucharest without being in the hustle and bustle of too busy a location. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and attentive. Everybody I met from the Hotel Elisabeta spoke more than adequate english and they answered my many requests and questions with ease. All and all a very pleasurable stay. I would stay again and highly recommend that others enjoy this little gem of a hotel in Bucharest.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel being in a business trip in Cluj-Napoca. The room was spacious, clean and had ergonomic furniture. Very interesting lights under the bed :-). The breakfast is a little bit more than the usual buffet breakfasts at same kind of hotels, or at least this was my impression. If you get an executive room then you can use the executive lunge at 4th floor which gives some extra goodies throughout the day, like free food and drinks :-)

My wife and I stood at this small but unique hotel for two nights and we had a rather pleasant experience. For one, the hotel is a few minutes to the old city center and several main attractions such as St. Michael's Church and the Statue of King Mátyás but it's also right across the street from Avram Iancu Square and the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral. Our room had a terrace which looked right out upon the Square - an amazing view that made our stay here very memorable.
Breakfast (hot eggs, pastries, fruit, bread, cereal) was OK, wi-fi worked very well, staff was very friendly and helpful.
On the negative side, bed was made up of two twins (which could be problematic if you wish to do other things on the bed besides sleeping), pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the room AC wasn't yet active (they told me they set them for the summer and that it wasn't that hot yet). This was a bit of a problem as the room got very stuffy and we had to sleep with the terrace window wide open (no screen).
But did I mention that awesome view? Yeah, that.
