Everything was perfect, room, staff, premises etc. One thing to improve: checkout took longer than expected because there was only one hotel representative handling check-ins and check-outs. It took me more than 20 minutes to check out.

it was convenient to the airport but in a great residential neighborhood bordering Miraflores. Exceptional staff, good restaurant, 24 hour room service. Top notch. With a decent gym too, but not quite like 5 star hotels.

This hotel is very central to everything and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great, lots of variety great service.
General TiPS....when you get to Cusco just relax in your room the first day/night. The altitude is no joke. The hotel provides oxygen for $35 so if you are feeling light headed or out of breath this comes in handy. ALSO no alcohol or heavy foods the first night. High altitude affects your digestive system so take it easy. If you are going to Machu Picchu leave your luggage at the hotel or pack lightly. The train station is 30 minutes away and traffic is awful so the less you carry the easier your life will be! Bon voyage my friends!!

We had a great stay at the Sumaq. The staff met us at the train station and took our luggage to the hotel where we were greeted and offered warm towels and complimentary beverages. The staff explained the hotel, showed us the restaurant, bar and to our room. The room was roomy and very clean. We took a complimentary cooking class which was entertaining. Breakfast and dinner were included and the buffet breakfast was a great way to start each day before heading to Machu Picchu. On our last day we checked out before heading to Machu Picchu and the hotel held our luggage. We then came back to the hotel and they allowed us to use a room to shower making for a very pleasant train ride back to Cusco.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Cusco. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The concierge was always there to help and would always follow up when you asked them a question. I never write reviews but this hotel was far and away the best I have ever visited. I could not recommend it more!!!!
