the location of this resort is terrific. It is walking distance to a lot of local attractions, opposite public transport and supermarket. The rooms are very adequate with good room service. I would recommend for value for money.

We enjoyed the hotel and appreciated that we forgot some stuff in the room and that one of the staff member brought it back to us at the airport, that is a big +++
However there were 2 incidents: room on Sunday was not done till 6;30 pm after we called to let the reception know that our room has not been done.
On the Monday morning, I burnt my hand by reaching a pastry which was on the end side of the basket. When I mentioned it to a staff member, she put some burn cream on my hand and that was it. A week after I still have the scar of the burn.

I guess when your options for rooms are limited to the roughly 4-5 places (as there are only a few hotels at Yulara, close to Uluru), they can charge you whatever they like. And boy, did they charge a lot.
However, for the ease of being near Uluru, the nice room, and the absolutely lovely hotel facilities (pool & outdoor lounge area, restaurants, indoor lounges, etc.), this was a lovely place to stay.

What makes this a 4/5 rather than a 3/5 review is that the location, staff, and facilities were very good. I can imagine that during the Henley on Todd this place is fully booked, as it is RIGHT next to the dry river. With the restaurant, pool, gift shop, and friendly, accommodating staff this was a good place to spend approximately 18 hours.
The room was not bad, just an average hotel room. Clean, not super spacious, not a great view, bathroom was a little small. And the hallways felt odd in how wide they were, open and cold. Though the openness may be more appreciated in the hot summer months -- we were there in the winter/early spring, so it was a bit chilly.
