The hotel is located on the main restaurant street but remains a quiet oasis amongst the hustle.
Large rooms with modern bathrooms and the bedroom has striking wall paper and plenty of space. Our room on the 14th floor had water views.
The foyer is in need of a refresh and has an unused feel about it but the staff are very helpful, especially the breakfast and room service staff. The gym and pool (currently being refurbed) are good but certainly not modern.
Overall we loved the location to the shops, bars, restaurants and easy stroll to the waterfront precinct.

Perfect option when arriving late at night into Darwin. A shuttle bus is available, but we just followed the well-signed pathway and walked across to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend doing so alone, but there were 4 of us so felt totally safe. The room was a little tired (stained lounge), however I expect that they are used for 'long stays' as opposed to simply overnights which would cause more wear and tear. The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a short walk away with standard international hotel spread on offer. Friendly service (and great mushrooms!) We would stay again and would recommend to others.

Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy, however staff presentation was ordinary. Room was good, had everything I needed and was very clean, hiwever the air-conditioner struggled to keep up on the hot days (37+) and the bathroom tap was continually dripping. Also whwn people were smoking on the verandah outside, smoke could be smelt strongly in the room.
Overall pretty good though and the lication was fantastic in the centre if town and with plenty of car parking. Would certainly stay there again when travelling alone or with a mate, but maybe not quite as highly recommended for a romantic couple.

Level of cleaning in the room was poor when we arrived. The second day they came and made the bed but didn't vacuum or offer us clean glasses or mugs. Stains on the countertops were left. The pool was very disappointing. It was tiny, very cold and even though technically outdoors was in shadow almost all day. Only two pool loungers, one badly broken. The location is great however but don't spend extra on a room with a view as the trees block out most of it.

Basic room made better with free in-house movies.
Nice restaurant with simple but yummy food. Chick who works in the restaurant (books people in, serves behind the bar, hands out bottled water to the tables, clears the dishes) is the hardest working person in the hotel. She made our stay, thankyou.
