The room was advertised to have a view of Uluru. The documentation on the web site showed low level shrubbery with no restriction of the view. The picture must have been taken a long time ago as I could not see Uluru from the room at all because the shrubbery had grown so much as to block out the view. Web site needs to be updated. I shall think twice again booking from this site.
My wife and I together with our eldest son Stayed for 2 nights recently, The hotel was expensive for what you get. The room was relatively basic and certainly nowhere near worth the £300 we paid per night, this price didn’t include breakfast either! Add £17 pp…
This little gem in the heart of the Outback truly surprises! Excellent facilities, a wonderful variety of dining options both on-site and nearby, and a ton of well-organized activities to keep you entertained. A perfect mix of comfort and adventure.
This is part of the Ayers Rock Resort- one of the few hotels on the property. There is a town square with market and a couple restaurants. A bar with music is part of the property. Does the job for a couple nights to see Uluru and explore.
Great resort. Staff at reception somewhat unfriendly but overall it is a great place

Stayed here two nights to visit Uluru. The room was clean and comfortable but the A/C was turned off and the room got unbearable hot during the night. The heater also kept randomly restarting at night even when turned off. The tv was not hooked up to the internet and would not connect to the WiFi so we could not stream anything at night. Suffice to say we did not sleep well. The staff were not able to help…
Bistro is excellent. The resort is in a monopoly situation, but does deliver a good holiday.

Apart from the beautiful location the best asset for the DGH are its fantastic staff. The staff were delightful. I have stayed in many locations all over the world and must say that I have never come across staff as helpful as DGH's- well done!
The food at the DGH was also excellent.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Cheers
Susan
We were left to walk length of the property and same with the carpark, we are senior citizens and there was no respect from check in staff just get the job done and go away 😤
This place was fantastic. Definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others. Darcey at front reception was amazing to deal with. The pools a great size and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are a good size and very clean and quiet. Lots of choice for shopping even has a IGA so you can buy stuff you need. Lots to see and do around the grounds as well. It exceeded my expectations of the place . I loved it.
Pricey but it is part of the Ayers Rock Resort set of hotels in Yulara and the Ayers Rocks Resort is where you have to stay to visit Uluru National Park, therefore, it is worth spending the money to visit.
We only stayed one night so keep that in mind! Everything in Yulara is expensive so the cost of the room was high…I didn’t necessarily mind that but I did mind the condition of the room. There were mouse droppings on the bed and floor and a whole lot of ants in the bathroom. The staff were fairly responsive to the problem and offered us another room so can’t fault them there but we had stayed at the Outback Lodge for a few nights prior to this (less expensive) and the room quality was much better! They did have a GREAT breakfast buffet and the staff we interacted with were quite nice but for value for $ is not there
