In the modern world of 2-3 cameral insulated windows one can't help wondering how a 4* hotel can have windows that let all the street noise in. Our room was on the ground floor - in front of the large construction site across a narrow street. Under our windows there was a temporary board walk, whose planks screeched and rattled as the peds walked on and tourists rolled their suitcases. All these and other sounds were coming through the locked windows into the room unobstructed. Luckily enough it was Saturday and no one seemed to be working on the constuction site. I can only imagine how it feels in the room when the building site goes alive...
otherwise, quite a nice hotel, in a cosy corner close to the center

Was in Riga following my nephew's wedding and chose this hotel for price and location and wasn't disappointed. Friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms with a feast for breakfast what more do you need! There was a well stocked mini bar without bumped-up prices and slippers and bathrobes for our convenience. Will be going back.
