This was my 1st visit to Haiti. Went only for 3 days. Didn't know what to expect from the country. This place was ok, modest with a very basic room, breakfast, and shuttle included. good enough for my short trip needs.
However, some staff should be careful about how they say things, so we customers feel like giving them a better tip and coming back to the hotel. (Except the driver who was very friendly and attentive). We asked for milk 3 times during breakfast, the waiter insisted " no milk, no milk, no milk". I ended up with no milk and very unhappy. Later on, I figured things out. "Milk is not included in the breakfast/package, but the hotel serves it at an extra cost!".
Also as I was leaving the hotel a female staff at the office insisted my trip partner wasn't leaving with me that day, and that she was staying 4 more days. I insisted I was the one who booked the trip for both of us and we were both leaving that day. She checked her records and said firmly : "Nope, you are wrong". I had to go and bring my partner. Only then, the woman said: oh she was't the person I was referring to :(- What ever happened to :T he customer is always right??"

Considering the price it's exactly what I expected. There is a restaurant on site that only serves the people staying there; but it closes too early. The hotel is not too far from the airport and it's close to public transportation. There isn't really a lot to do do nearby. My room was a little dark because the windows are small. If you're on a budget this is the place for you. Overall it was an ok experience. Please add another router or 2 to improve the wi fi signal throughout the hotel. Routers don't cost a lot.

Lovely grounds and good breakfast buffet. A bit far from downtown area, though and thus felt somwhat isolated. Staff were pleasant for the most part. It would be nice to be able to charge food and drinks to the room instead of having to carry wads of cash everywhere, but this was not allowed. Also, credit cards did not seem to work while I was there. I don't know if it was a temporary problem or a permanent one.

There is rolling electricity so you have to get used to that but it's overall clean and beautiful! The staff is very accommodating. There are no elevators and the rooms are spread out so you have to be willing to walk a bit or if handicapped get a room near ground level.
