PROS: Great location on a picturesque Republic Square steps away from restaurants and museums. All staff speaks good English. Typical Marriott standard is present and appreciated by many expats and foreigners who stay here. The biggest asset is cheerful, warm staff showing good attitude, quick smiles and genuine interest in guests' needs. MINUSES: Room walls are so thin that you can hear not only your neighbor on the phone but even what the other party is answering from the other side of the line. My hard of hearing neighbor was often up and about on the phone well into early morning hours presumably because of his jet lag and time zone difference between Armenia and his country. Our floor was accessible only through a beat up service elevator. Small kids full of energy are allowed into the executive lounge even during evening cocktail hours.
