Overall: This is a very good hotel. I stayed with my friend in a private room with ensuite bathroom. I would recommend this hotel.
+clean room and bathroom
+good location in Uyuni
+staff responsive and helpful
-shower DOES give hot water but you have to keep the flow rate on the low end to make the inline heater work well
-staff English command very limited
-housekeeping a bit inconsistent

Wonderful staff make this hotel a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in was spotless, with comfortable beds and a great view of lake Titicaca. After staying in budget options through Chile and Salar de Uyuni- this three star hotel seemed like the ritz. Much needed and much appreciated.

The bed was very uncomfortable, besides that the hotel has good structure (shower, breakfast etc).
The hotel is quite far from downtown (30 minutes walking, therefore at night it is necessary to use taxi.

Great experience. The owners of the lodge were very helpful in making our stay wonderful. One thing we did not initially understand was that we needed to take the tour that starts at 8:30am to get to the island. Other than the tour, there are not many affordable options for boat taxi's. Oswaldo (hotel owner), and Percy (employee) helped tremendously to set up logistics for us to arrive to their island. They set up a tour for us with a friend of theirs at Uros to see the floating islands. (Exploring Uros can not be done without a tour).
Food was served by the host family. There aren't restaurant options in the area. Food by the family was amazing. 3 course meals of exquisite home cooked typical peruvian food. We had lunch ready for us upon arrival, dinner and breakfast before departure. Cost of food not included in reservation but is expected to be added.
The family is very sweet and knowledgable. They took us on the sunset tour and ruin tour which had beautiful views.
Overall, wonderful and unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this location for a cultural stay on the lake titicaca islands.
