This hotel was very nice, but on arrival I had requested a walk-in shower and it was not available when I got there. They did try to do something, but it didn’t work out. They did bring me up a shower chair which wasn’t very safe for me to use. The room was clean but the next day when we left and came back, the room was not acceptable. I took the information and the picture to the front desk and she said they would discuss it with the person. We had used extra blankets on the beds and they were just thrown on the bed, not folded, and the pillows were not where they should’ve been. The buffet for us was part of the room charge. I’m supposing. If I had had to pay $18 for the buffet, I would’ve been very irritated. There’s no imagination same menu both days. The eating area was very nice. Everything was clean, but they had the same food both days and like I said, no imagination they need to talk to their chef. I realize that they have a lot of people coming in and out of there on the buses, but it still should be something that’s enjoyable to eat with a little variety. I have got much better food selection at Hyatt and Hilton that we had here. For the amount of money we paid for the room. I was very disappointed in the availability of things. Hilton than they had here.

The location is not ideal if you want to have easy access to restaurants and stores. The drive to town for anything is about 20 - 25 minutes. We booked this place for aurora viewing but the timing was not right. There's no activity the 3 nights we were there. The management of this place can do better with breakfast choices. I did. not eat anything from the freezer as those items appeared to be there for a long time. There's no even a fresh loaf of bread there for us to make a toast in the morning. The drink options can also be better. There's no diet soda and only two choices of soda. What's wrong with a little bit of everything! I think management is just lazy to restock every day. There's no housekeeping service. I was told it has to be arranged. We saw a guy there on the second day to fix something. I did not see any 'professional' cleaning staff there to clean the two rooms when people moved out. As for our room, when we checked in I noticed the comfortable covers for both beds were no pressed. It's pretty wrinkle like someone just used them the night before. I expected more I guess. Overall, it's an okay stay if you don't want to 'chase' the aurora and still have to ability to view it.

I would not let my dog stay here!! This place is disgustingly bad!! The leaky kitchen faucet, gross pillows( flat like a pancake), awful bed and bedding, mud pit for parking lot!! This was not like any extended stay I have been to in the past!! I do NOT recommend this place!
