⭐ 1/5 Stars – Don’t Let the Nice Lobby Fool You! The lobby may look nice, but the rooms tell a completely different story! This hotel is rundown, dirty, noisy, and poorly maintained. I asked the cleaning ladies for an extra towel and they told me to walk down to laundry and grab one. Our room smelled stale and damp. The mattress was old and sagging, the pillows were ridiculously small, and the flooring was peeling up. The mini fridge was iced over and plugged into a dangerously dangling extension cord, while the microwave still had old food particles inside. The bathroom was disgusting. Sticky floors, unswept corners, hair left in the bathtub drain, and an old, filthy shower liner. I actually had to stand on a towel just to shower! To make matters worse, the property appeared to have long-term residents, and it was incredibly noisy. We could hear entire conversations through the connecting door. This place felt like something straight out of a horror movie! If you’re traveling through Rochester and need a peaceful night’s sleep before your flight, spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. I would NEVER stay here again!

I’ve stayed here many times in the last few months and have always had a wonderful experience until this weekend and even then it wasn’t bad it just was ok. The light was blown in the room in the ceiling and one of the lamps also did not work. And the toilet wouldn’t stop running and didn’t flush well. I notified the front desk and they were very attentive in responding and taking care of things. The only other thing was the tub had a couple splashes of something dried to the bottom. I’ve found the rooms on the above floors are remodeled and nicer than the first floor rooms but still clean and the beds are comfy.

We had a room where you had to walk up two steps to get to the toilet--not very safe especially in the middle of the night. Parking lot filled with potholes. Needed to climb two and a half flights to get to our room. Less than a half of roll of toilet paper with no spare rolls. We stayed here once before and had a much nicer experience but after last night will not stay here again. We actually left in the middle of the night to go home. There are no amenities to speak of except for a couple bottles of water and some Keurig coffee capsules. For the amount of $$ that we paid for this room, not acceptable!

This was my first time staying at this facility. Getting the key using a code texted to me was hassle free. The room overall was pretty clean/nice. The shower head and pressure was great!! Always a big plus! The bed and pillows were too firm for my liking but I made due. I like where it is located on Monroe Ave. Wifi was easy to access. The heated toilet seat was a bit weird to me, so I turned it off. LOL :P All in all the hotel was better than I expected.

Our room had wallpaper coming down in the bathroom. There was mold/mildew in the shower and around the glass in the shower door. The room is not regularly cleaned as there was something very noticeable on the side of one of the nightstands. I would not recommend this hotel and especially at the price I paid. Find another Hampton Inn down the road to stay at.
