Everything was great except the mandatory timeshare pitch to get the parking pass. After a 12 hrs drive to get there it was the last thing I wanted any part of. Very cheesy. You can do better than that! Whomever had that great idea needs to go back to the used car lot.

When having this listing on Expedia, it should clearly say that waterpark is not included with the resort. It’s very misleading. So you make reservations because you want to take your kids to a waterpark and turn around and have to spend additional money for waterpark tickets.

Great experience all the way around. Would recommend, and would stay again. Everything in the description was very accurate.

This was a great place, up in the mountains, within the Smokey National Park. The last turn in and up to the property was sharp and somewhat tricky to see from the one direction, so just know that. I for one wanted to see bears and the fam and I saw 3 - it was great! Our room(s) were much larger than expected and my son really enjoyed the jet bath!

We were not booked in the main building. We were sent to a separate building a block away. The pictures online lead me to believe that we would have a view of a stream, or at least trees, from our balcony. Instead, we had a view of another hotel's parking lot, at close range. The building was clean but had a worn-out feel. After check-in, before you are given your parking pass, they try to talk you into attending a timeshare presentation. I said "No" and they let it go. But the man in the next cubicle sounded pretty aggressive and obnoxious. Overall, it's not horrible and I would stay again if nothing else was available. If price is your main factor, it's probably worth giving it a try. But don't expect it to look as nice as the pictures online and be prepared for the whole timeshare thing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort exceeded every expectation! If you’re looking for an upscale getaway in the Smoky Mountains, this is it. The resort truly has everything you could want. The pool and lazy river are absolutely incredible and create the perfect place to relax, while the cabins are beautifully designed, luxurious, spacious, and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. One of the best parts is the location. You’re only about 6 minutes from grocery stores and everyday essentials, and within 10 minutes of restaurants, dinner shows, shopping, Dollywood, and plenty of places to pick up souvenirs. Even downtown Gatlinburg is only about a 23-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy everything the Smoky Mountains have to offer without staying in the middle of the crowds. What impressed me most was how versatile this resort is. During our stay, we saw family reunions, bachelorette parties, church groups, couples, and families with children all enjoying themselves. There truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape, a family vacation, or a large group gathering, Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort is the perfect destination. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!
