This property was one of the best we have stayed at when visiting the UK or Ireland. The rooms were nice and the property was excellent. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Lived that you had access to the athletic club and dinner T the restaurant was too notch. Highly recommend eating there at least once. Close to the train station to go to Cobh. All in all it was a wonderful trip.

A bit disappointing.

My expectations were a bit higher for an SLH and Hilton Property. In full transparency, we booked directly annd other family members booked on Expedia. Unfortunately, the check-in process didn’t acknowledge the status of Hilton for the room, free breakfast, or the discounted dining associated with Hilton. We were charged full price and none of the perks were offered/accepted. To top it off, the hotel is a bit run down with musty rooms, likely due to the humidity from the showers. The bathrooms were nice and the shower pressure was good. But the room itself was very small and the bed/pillows were mediocre at best. The wait staff were nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet was decent and they offered an ala carte menu on top of the full breakfast buffet at no additional cost. The view from the back deck was great but that really was the highlight of the MonteNotte.

Check-in staff was friendly and the hotel looks beautiful. The hotel room was not the best. It was very hot in the room with no way to cool it down. The bathroom was very cramped. The shower didn’t have a door so a lot of water flooded the bathroom floor causing a major slip issue. Poor design. I expected the food to be better but it wasn’t so great. Very bland and small portions. The view is very nice and the grounds are beautiful. Watch out for the random elevator they have. Seems dangerous and hardly worked. Overall, I expected a lot better from this hotel.

The staff was AMAZING… the Bellevue spa Was LOVELY and we travelled with our 3 year old (we are a mid 30s couple from Boston) and she LOVED the pool. The staff would bring everything right away no matter what you called and asked for, extra towels, espresso pods, robes- you name it!! They were all so kind, pleasant, and helpful… I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE who tells me that they are coming to Cork. The only caveat would be that they don’t let kids in the pool past 6pm, children aren’t allowed in the terrace outdoor bar (which is a super bummer bc most of the seating is outdoors with breathtaking views) and children aren’t allowed in the theater. Definitely not the most child friendly place, but that is my only complaint

Probably the best overall hotel that I've stayed at to date. We were greeted very warmed by Ken. Such a kind and helpful man, my shy kids even felt comfortable asking him questions. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. Always checking on you as you walked by. The property itself is stunning and fairly priced for all the amazing amenities. Can't say enough good thing about this hotel. High praise from the kids too.

The grounds and setting are amazing. Our dinner server was a little up tight and did not help us enjoy the evening as much as we had hoped. We had a big dinner with drinks, a bottle of wine etc. He seemed overly concerned about ordering the food before kitchen closed.
