We arrived on a super-hot afternoon in mid-September but check-in was quick and easy. There seemed to be plenty of parking. The room was well furnished with the only ding being a floor that wasn't especially clean. Kerman is close to a lot of agriculture and it was hot and dusty outside, so not a big deal. The A/C worked well. The market next door has the same owner as the motel and had the best beef quesadillas I've ever tasted. What do I know, I'm a pasty white guy from Connecticut. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a location that fit into our plans.

Red Bug Lodge is a basic property, it is clean and the beds are really comfortable it also has a small kitchenette. It is only a 12 min drive to the gate at Yosemite which is why we chose it. It is expensive for what it is but all the accommodation near the Park is expensive. I would say overall good value for its location.

Room was clean and nicely renovated. It was nice that they had door dash set up to have food delivered to the room.

​The refrigerator was noisy at night, and poor soundproofing meant I could hear footsteps from the room upstairs throughout the night. The bathroom sink leaked whenever the water pressure was high, soaking the carpet underneath and making it nasty. On top of that, I had to clear out about 10 flying ants in the room right after checking in. ​If you have other options, skip this hotel. It’s only acceptable for a 1-2 night stay if you're in a pinch.
