The staff at the front desk was very helpful whenever I asked questions or needed anything. The pool was indoors and really nice. However, they don't have much breakfast (granola bars, yogurt, juice), which would have been okay; however, why have a beautiful breakfast room, when you don't have much breakfast? As far as the room goes, it was spacious and the bed was amazing!

King “Suite” is not as advertised. There is only a select number of split room king suites and more 1 room suites. Air conditioner was so loud that it woke us up every time it turned on and there was no way to control temperature or fan. Staff had no answers on what to do or options to switch. Hotel is fine if you’re in a pinch and need a room coming from the airport, but if you’re planning a trip, I’d avoid.

After weeks on the road across six states, this was by far the worst stay, and was a major mistake on my part to book, but when I read the name “Comfort”, I was trusting enough to believe the conglomerate that owns this brand now might actually have the capacity and intention to honor that word…they don’t. At all. The person who checked us in made me feel more like I was being booked at a P.D. than a hotel. He also was either unable or unwilling to make eye contact, and seemed to have zero training in customer service within the hospitality sector. That was the first red flag. The room layout was awkwardly designed and the sofa and seating area was entirely unappealing with deeply soiled stains on its fabric guaranteeing it would go unused by our family. The final insult to injury however was the water. Every faucet clearly implemented a temp governor that stopped at luke warm. After a long day on the road, we were met with a shower and bath experience that left us shivering, and more stressed out upon exiting than before entering. It was also evident that someone before us had even tried to remove the echelon fasteners around the valve handle, likely in an attempt to adjust it for heat, which felt unsettling. I’m not sure who runs this specific chain of hotels but we definitely recommend skipping this place.

The staff was very helpful when we arrived late at night. They were also very responsive when I had some concerns about the swimming pool pump not operating, which they fixed immediately.

The hotel is exceptionally maintained and for anyone looking for a beautiful historic hotel, this is it!
