This is a wonderful characterful hotel with fabulous themed rooms in an historic house. We were in a self contained apartment at the back which was very peaceful. Only quibble was that the glass door let in too much early morning light!

It was our second 'Date Night' in Clyde where we had dinner at the Post Office, saw a movie and stayed at the Dunstan Hotel. This time we had the Fountain room. It was gorgeous, had it's own ensuite and was definitely something a little special.

What a magical place to stay. The former hotel us like stepping back in time. I was so charmed by the decor, by the authentic touches, by the upstaurs verandah. Clyde is also a lovely place for a post dinner meander. Highly recommended for something a bit special. Lovely hosts
