We stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin itself was clean. The shampoo/body wash bottle was empty. The hot tub was clean. The complementary breakfast was decent. The only reason why the low star rating, is because the cabins do not have AC units. It gets really hot during the day and cool in the evening but it’s still not enough to cool the entire cabin down. The hotel personnel recommended to keep the windows open at night and closing them during the day, along with the shades. The cabin has a ceiling fan, but you cannot regulate it, it has a set speed. It did not help to cool down the cabin. I did notice that if you stay in the rooms, they do have AC units, it’s only the cabins that do not. I would not recommend staying in the cabins during the summer. The property is located close to West Yellowstone entrance, about 30 minutes drive.

Great hitel

This was an awesome cabin!! It was extremely clean and felt very home like! My kids/grandkids absolutely loved it! There were even family games to play in the evenings! This was a perfect place for our family!! Thank you Laurie!

The cabins are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with whatever is needed. We will definitely be coming back.

The room was excellent, everything looked brand new. All amenities were there. The exterior still looks original and vintage but the interior of the rooms are completely renovated.

We stayed at Wander Camp Island Park for four nights in late June 2026. We were told quiet hours would be enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM. On our first night, a loud group arrived late, left their headlights shining into our tent for about 20 minutes, and talked and laughed loudly well past quiet hours. When we reported it, on-site management said quiet hours were not enforced and relied on the "honor system." During our stay, the rain tarp on our tent partially blew off. After we reported it, the on-site team repaired it with duct tape. The night before our scheduled departure, after receiving an incorrect checkout confirmation email, two guests entered our tent around 11 PM with flashlights. They claimed to have been assigned our occupied tent for the night. Although this was not the guests' fault, the booking error was invasive and woke our entire family. On our departure day, we left at 9:40 AM, before the 10 AM checkout. An hour later, management incorrectly claimed we had checked out late. Given these repeated management errors, we requested a refund for one night's stay. Wander Camp instead offered 10% off a future stay. We’ve disputed the charge with our credit card company and expect our requested refund. Based on our experience, we would not stay at Wander Camp again and cannot recommend it to other families.

The property is about a 35min drive from the west Yellowstone entrance. So be prepared to get up early !. Lovely property though be aware some of them face each other. Great to have free firewood for the fire pit. There is a gas station with a store within meters of the property so you can get some supplies.

Clean and spacious room, recently renovated floor, bath area, etc. Looks new.
