Chungan-mal Vacation Packages

The guy at the front desk spoke English. He was very helpful with giving us directions for food.

Enjoyed it!!

My flight arrived early so I came in to check in my baggage, the gentlemen at the front desk was not very friendly seemed a little rude or maybe it was too early in the morning.

The room was quite large for Seoul. The breakfast buffet had lots of options from cereal and yogurt for kids to quail eggs and crab salad for adults (as well as many other options). The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff was very helpful with each special request we had. The price was a bit on the high side compared to what we have paid in the best, but it was definitely worth it. As someone who has made more that 25 lengthy visits to Korea (often for more than a year at a time), I would have to say that Mapo-gu is one of my favorite districts in Seoul.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, from the great location to the delicious breakfast and the friendly staff.

The hotel had several positives. It was clean, quiet, and the customer service was consistently good. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast; they offered a wide variety of dishes and changed the menu daily, which was great for longer stays. The hotel is non‑smoking, so there was no lingering smoke scent. I also appreciated the American‑style bath towels, the centrally located area, and the laundry facilities, which worked well. The business center was clean and functional, and the instant noodle station was a nice touch, though it could be distracting if you’re working while others are eating nearby. However, there were also several downsides. The elevator was extremely slow, especially during checkout when everyone was trying to leave at once. The room was radically small with almost no space for luggage, and there was no closet unless you specifically requested one. For a short stay, it might be manageable, but with a suitcase it was very inconvenient. Even after switching to a room with a closet, the space was still tight. The gym was small as well; everything worked, but if three people were exercising at the same time, it was difficult to move around.
