"Friendly, helpful staff"
The staff were very friendly and efficient. In particular, Rita Flouri helped to organise our activities, suggesting good places to go and sorting out a rental car for us. Rita was cheerful, knowledgable and caring – she made all the difference to our holiday!

"Best 5 star experience in 20 years!"
This hotel is exceptional! The rooms were fabulous, the staff were more than attentive and the owners were simply generous and lovely. My wife and I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean and, as of late various locations in Europe only at 5 star hotels in the past 20 years. I can say without hesitation that Vergis Epavlis was by far the most accommodating and safe destinations we've been to. The owners not only helped us with directions and itinerary alterations but they invited us to a local feast at their friends home which was near the hotel. Cretan hospitality is something I read of but was not expected- these people really care about their guests! I have never once felt so secure to leave the room unlocked with our money and passports etc. It was simply the most outstanding 5 night stay we could imagine. Incredible view of Crete's largest city, absolutely quietest room and facilties. Possibly the most memorable stay we've had and this is no exaggeration!

"Great Hotel, great location. "
We had a wonderful stay here. The room had all the amenities you would look for in a top-notch resort. The breakfast buffet was great, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and beach was beautiful. Special thanks to our bartender, Antonas, who tried to teach us the Greek alphabet and definitely taught us a lot about hospitality. 5 Stars!

"Lovely accommodation in an amazing village"
Three of us booked a two bedroom apartment and we were so happy with it. Everything was clean and comfortable and we easily made it our home away from home for three nights. It was however difficult to find initially with Google maps sending us through the tiny - and I mean extremely tiny and steep - paved streets of the village. But that is because it is a traditional village and this is what you get. We didn't use the pool as the weather had changed by it looked delightful. I would not hesitate staying here again, for the hospitality and comfort of the rooms

"Nice hotel close to all kids entertainment "
We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. Then we were offered a gift voucher if we attended a presentation. The room was spacious. Everything was clean. The breakfast and dinner was very delicious with lots of varieties. During the day, lots of activities were available for kids and grown ups. No time to be bored. Very recommended hotel with excellent and knowledgeable staff.

"Great hosts, good location, rooms are ok"
The flats are in a good location, close to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The hosts (owner and his two sons) are extremely hospitable and make guests feel very welcome. The rooms are ok overall, they are not luxury but do the job. We did however have problems with the toilet not flushing.

Our family has a great stay in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. My son really wanted to try Cretan style snails. The front office staff helped us locate a few restaurants. Every place they mentioned was fabulous. Great location. The hotel was very close to the Lion Fountain and tourist spots. There was also a grocery store around the corner - very nice as it let us buy inexpensive breakfasts.

Choudetsi is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Choudetsi, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Choudetsi hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
