Excellent service. Spotless room. Freshly cooked breakfast. On arrival wanted a bigger room offered immediately extra £15 for 2 nights. Very reasonable and well worth it.

Some of the things that was was told on emails wasn’t true, like a restaurant being there for us to have dinner. When I asked he said no this isn’t true but on the confirmation email, it contradicted that. There is also parking but you have to have a code which they don’t give you until you go in. So have to find parking before.

Great location for both Chatham and Rochester. Good for train service to other parts of Kent. As we saw in other reviews, the building itself could do with a little tlc but overall was a very pleasant stay. Connor, one of the staff there was very helpful. Definitely value for money 😊👍

The hotel is tired to look at but I felt ideal for a working person stop as it was clean, cheap with good internet, off road parking and near restaurants.

We felt very welcome when arriving at the hotel, the man at reception was so helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had a nice view of the river from our window.

Historical building in the historical area of Rochester. Very walkable. The room was large and clean. They area has many great historical buildings including the the Rochester Castle and a great high street with great shopping and dining.

Clean but dated. The food is good, but the choice is limited - the online menu isn't available in the restaurant. Value for money is very good. The car park is at the bottom of a steep flight of concrete steps that have seen better days. Not for the elderly or infirm. Staff are all very friendly.

The Room [411] was tired and showed signs of needing a fresh coat of paint in the bathroom as there were steak marks down the walls and paint worn off due to scrubbing. the bed was clean. No hair dryer in the rooms. I am gluten intolerant, and had very little option for their full cooked breakfast. No cereal option. No bread option, No pastry option, No GF sausages, No GF beans, No GF Hash Browns, and as a border line diabetic, no sugar substitute [ hermosita or sweetex] > so all in all , pretty disappointing stay. wont recommend to friends.

I guess you get what you pay for. The only car parking at the hotel is for people with disabilities. Other car parking, while not far away, can only be accessed by steep, long and uneven steps. As the room photos showed both a walk in shower and one over a bath I sent a message to the hotel requesting a walk in one as my wife has some mobility issues. There was no response to my message and we ended up with a shower over the bath and were advised there was no other option.
