Very nice hotel, very friendly staff and valet service, convenient and close to PNC Park

Some confusion on my end with paying the deposit, as I thought I was paying for my room a second time, but the host was quick to clear it up. Another pleasant stay at this clean and quiet property.

The hotel is ideally located to Pitt. The room we had offered a view of the Monongahela River. When we figured out the room darkening shade instead of the screen, we had a very restful night. Would stay here again!

The pillows smelled really bad. Terrible night sleep with no pillow and thinking the sheets were not changed. Housekeeper changed the pillow cases next day. Ice machine was broken.

Could not inhabit the 8th floor room because unable to climb 164 stairs and elevator service was out both nights. Had to find other accommodations. Received refund.

This company offers several units in the same building. The photo differences made me think I was choosing which unit, but that is not the case. DO NOT PICK BASED ON THE PHOTO. The layout and couch were different than what I selected. When I called I was told that the unit furnishings can change as they breakdown, but that doesn't explain why the layout was different. The customer service line was responsive, but basically no help on this issue. I had to call to ask about extra bedding, which was in a storage unit under the couch. That's fine, but this area had not been cleaned in awhile and there was crumbs and wrappers in with the extra bedding. There was no plug anyplace near the TV and also no extension cord. The company did drop one off the second day, but how has that not been addressed. There was a noisy dehumidifier rigged up to vent out the window, but was not using the right material to due so, so there was an opening to the outside. This also left NO sound resistance so I removed it at night so I could sleep. Pillows were lame, but the couch wasn't too bad for what it was. There was dirt between the sheets at the feet, made me wonder if it had been changed. No fault of the unit, but this area was very noisy and the construction next door started at 4am!! The registration process is convoluted with multiple apps and authorizations. There's no guidance on cleaning expectations or useful directions like you find in some places. Would not recommend!
