Clean property from the parking lot, to the lobby and halls to the room. Easy check in with friendly staff. Quiet, safe area with no problems at a great price. I have paid a lot more for a lot less.

On our way home

We were driving back home and decided we had driven far enough for the day. Looked for hotels near where we were. Reviews sounded good so we booked a night. This hotel has three buildings, so you may not be in the one where you check in. Our room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast isn't much which we knew from the reviews, but we grabbed coffee and went to McDonalds as we headed out of town.

The front desk people were nice but they had a group of several men outside the front door the entire time like 8-10 guys the whole time we were here. Being a single mom it’s a little uneasy when it was just my mom and my daughter and I. The WiFi wasn’t sufficient at all, and then we went outside and saw a crawfish by the front door. As the guys were all still outside just hanging out and drinking. It just made us feel really uneasy. I would never let a group of men sit right by the front door when people are coming to check in, especially when they don’t speak English . No one should ever feel unsafe at a hotel

Room, stay and amenities were all decent for the price but the odor in the hallway smelled like someone was cooking a spicy meal and the smell didn’t dissipate during my entire stay.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and updated to look good but stuff was done shoddy. The window leaked on the top seal from the rain. When you turn on the water in the bathtub it makes noise. The water leaked around the faucet in the sink. The remote control for the TV was broken and we didn't get it replaced until the second day.
