Where do I begin? Booked through Expedia. When I arrived at property, should have been someone to check in with until 8pm. There was no one there. Finally reached someone from the property on the phone, and they could not find my reservation. After over an hour on the phone with multiple people, we were finally able to get it all straightened out and checked in. The majority of our unit was good, but I will list the bad: Couch and chair in the living room NEED to be replaced, stained and have a dirty, oily feeling (We put a sheet over the couch for the entirety of our stay. One of the drawer slides in the kitchen broke letting the drawer fall out, barely missing my wife's foot. No iron or ironing board in our unit, we should have checked on that when booking. No soap in our unit, and body wash dispenser in the shower was broken so had to shower with shampoo the first morning (front office said they would bring us some soap, but just brought small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion). TV in bedroom had no remote or even a power cord. I found the cord in the kitchen and on day 2 front office sent someone to bring us a remote and get it programmed to work. The property location was great, walking distance to a small boardwalk area with dining, shopping and a marina. Right next to the ferry terminal. The pool facilities were great. Very short drive to other restaurants and the beach. We loved Hatteras as a whole.

here were a few issues. There was no elevator, which is hard on an old person like me. The two USB plugs on the cube on the desk didn't work. It was impossible to plug anything in on the night tables because the desk was too close to the wall, and there were no free wall plugs. Finally, the shower floor was very slick and there was no grab bar. WE had to put a towel down. Now the good part. The bed and beddings were heavenly. They wrapped around you like a soft cloud. I fell asleep in a few minutes. The decor was beyond tasteful. Every aspect of it was harmonized. Almost every adornment mirrored the calming view of the walls. And there was the big blue heron right at the end of the bed. The snacks you left were delicious The bathroom was lovely, and the water pressure and flow was the best I've every had in a hotel. All told, it was a deeply comforting and satisfying stay. I will definitely stay there again.

The guy who clean the breakfast bar, he is the best. He keep everything clean. He is very helpful. The foos was delicious cheese omelette was delicious.

Staff was as helpful as possible. Very friendly. I had sleeping accommodations for 3 people and only had sitting for one. When eating dinner in the room, the other two had to sit on the bed. If needing supplies during the evening, there was no housing keeping you had to get it yourself from the front desk, because only one person at the desk and not able to leave. Nothing special about this hotel that would make me want to do back.
