Everything was amazing. The people were friendly, helpful and quick to answer any questions. A friendly, welcoming environment. We travel alot and we've already recommended to many of our friends and family.

Outstanding location. Just cannot be beat. Generally clean for the obvious things like floors but the second level cleaning really hurts, like window casings haven’t been touched in a very long time, and they don’t stay open unless you prop them up with a shoe or book. Very bare basic room. Bathroom was pretty good tho Wifi—we were not given a code and therefore could not access it. Seems strange. Or is it even there?

We very much enjoyed our stay here, it’s just a few miles north of the town of Watkins Glen. We had a one bedroom cabin which was plenty of room for my husband and I. Very clean! Air conditioning worked well. It was so nice to come back after exploring to sit on the porch and watch the sunset every day. There’s a table and chairs on the porch and we ate several meals out there. There are a few restaurants in the area that we liked; “Here” for breakfast and Scale House Brewery for a couple of dinners. Since we had the one bedroom, there wasn’t a full kitchen, but a fridge, microwave, and Keurig which was fine. Had a great time in the area.

Not good

Julie was such an amazing host and keeps the nicest, cutest bed and breakfast we've stayed at. She really shines in all the little touches around the property like the snack and coffee bar, the locally sourced toiletries, she even left a little sprig of lavender folded into the towels. You would be correct in assuming all that attention to detail comes through in the breakfasts as well, she made us a burrata and pesto omelette that was to die for. From the moment we arrived and Julie met us at the door with fresh cookies we felt welcome and at home at their lovely little inn. Highly recommend.

I can't even begin to recommend Black Sheep Inn enough. It's an incredible location, wonderful staff who are knowledgeable of the area and are 5+ hosts. If you are in the area you MUST give yourself the pleasure of staying here.
