"Quite decent"
The good news: Our room, like most in the hotel, had a great view of the harbor. The hotel was redone just last year, and felt brand new and sparkly. The staff was both friendly and efficient, and the buffet breakfast, though not outstanding, was okay. The bad news: bathroom was not well designed. With the door open you can not reach the toilet paper holder from the seat. The door should open out instead of in. And did they run out of money for towel bars?

"A Home Away From Home!"
The experience My husband Don and I had was simply wonderful, despite inclement weather! I just asked him what he appreciated about this place and he said the amenities, the convenience of being so close to downtown Camden, the pool, even, though, the hot tub was not working at the time. The breakfast and breakfast room were indeed a wonderful experience because of the selection of food and the beautiful views from the 2nd floor-we were even on the same floor! There was WIFI which came in handy and plenty of room to spread our things out, very peaceful! The towels & linen were above what we have had in other places and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked to stay longer than our 2 nights so I could enjoy time in the living room area where there were books, magazines and comfortable chairs. Visiting with the staff was wonderful! Behind the hotel were a fire pit for warmth or making S'mores-fun for adults and children. The weather wasn't good for that during our visit. The ingredients for them was available in a sweet cupboard. I want to really go back again and I know my husband would, too! There was a play area for children which is wonderful for families. Umbrella's were available to use during a visit-that is thoughtfulness!

"Nice B&B"
Ted and Lisa were very accommodating hosts. The location is excellent - short walking distance to the harbor, downtown shops and restaurants, and the awesome public library (check out the reading room). The Inn is very elegant, well kept, and our room (Caroline) was spacious and comfortable. Parking is well located and plentiful. The state park is a 5 minute drive north, with excellent hiking and gorgeous views of Penobscot Bay. Don't miss this either via car to the observation area or by ~2 mile hike even higher. $6 for out of state entry, and worth every penny. Breakfast was nice with accommodation for personal needs or desires. Afternoon cookies and coffee/tea were a nice touch as well, and we enjoyed spending time playing games and reading in the common areas. Great location, facilities and hospitality.

"Cross the bridge to North Belfast "
My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from the Midwest. We don't have room for them at our house, and so found this place, only 10 miles from our home. It was affordable, clean, pleasant, had a great staff, a super view (although it did made me wish I could have afforded a cottage closer to the shore). The motel is right on the highway, Route 1, but has a pretty buffer of vegetation and so feels less like a roadside place of last resort. Room was small but very comfortable. No breakfast or options close by, but that just encouraged us to seek new adventures. The Hide-Away Diner in Northport has fantastic breakfasts and my visitors loved the corned beef hash.

"Overall great experience, amazing breakfast!"
The first time I stayed was pretty good...The check in was smooth. I recommend that you sign up for Hilton Honors to earn points for your stay and also because they will give you a bottle of Poland Springs water when you check in. Best water in the world and it comes from Maine. It made a nice impression on me. There are also cute sayings and quirky design elements added into the hotel theme. For example: the coffee cups have mustaches printed on the side of the cup so it sort of looks like you are wearing the mustache when you drink out of the cup. The rooms are always very clean. I like that there is full temperature control, a microwave and a fridge available in each room. I also appreciate having multiple pillows with different levels of "smooshiness" on each bed! The breakfast...Tons of options! You couldn't ask for a better included breakfast at a hotel. All of the ladies I've met who operate the breakfast have been wonderful but Ella stands out to me the most. She is very direct but always helpful and gives me a chuckle every time. You can tell that she takes her job very seriously and knows a lot about general hotel operations. She is actually the first person who mentioned the HiltonHonors program to me. I couldn't write a review without mentioning Chris and the rest front desk staff. He set me up with HH program and went above and beyond by completing hilarious special requests I put in for my friend's room. I'm staying there several more times and I can't wait!

Camden is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Camden, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Camden hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
