We enjoyed our stay. This is a great historic building. Each room is unique as I understand it. We had no issues, room was clean, tech worked fine, Having a relaxing drink out back at one of the tables under the trees is a highlight.

So, there was no elevator, the staff was wonderful! However, I travel for business, very low profile keep to myself. I had the tv on 30 two nights in a row the neighbor complained to turn the tv down. The tv was not loud, the issue where the walls were not built with sound proofing, sufficient enough to handle a simple tv. I felt the staff should have moved my neighbor, not scolded me like a child.

My wife left her personal pillow in the hotel. When she called there a couple of days later, the staff were great in arranging shipment of the pillow to our home.

We stayed three nights in early Aug. 2026. Hotel was beautiful and the coffee was always on in the lobby. We counted 36 full animal mounts and several partial mounts in the beautiful lobby. That was amazing!! The only slightly negative thing I’d have to say is there was never enough space for people to sit for breakfast. A couple more tables is needed for sure even if a few stuffed creatures need to go. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the worst room we have ever had. These beds were horrible. Very worn out and hard as a rock. You could not move at all because the beds was so loud and squeaky grindy and every other LOUD sound possible. Horrible beds and you heard loud dripping sounds all night. I thought it was the rain but it lasted all night and sounded like pipes. I will bot stay here again. These beds were the worst ever. $200 for a room per night and to have that bad of a Bed was a joke. Lazy cheep hotel owners. You can upgrade the mattress now days for a few hundred.
