This stay has a pretty good location for a nice price. “Breakfast” its not -breakfast- at all, they only buy packed muffins and put it on a table, that’s it, don’t go counting on their breakfast. Rooms were super clean, althought their beed needs to be changed.

If all you are looking for is a bed, fine. But TV didn't work, no internet, lights in room had a short (fire hazard) kept going off and on, air conditioning did not work to adjust temperature, it was hot, ants crawling in "cafeteria" at coffee station. I guess you get what you pay for, however, fire hazards and insects is a no for me.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is pretty convenient if you want to take the Blue Ridge train ride or go to Mercier Orchards. Would love to stay again if we visit this area.

The room had black mold on the walls and floor. The refrigerator did not work. Pool was not open. The pool I can live with. As an individual with asthma, the mold made it hard to breathe. When I said something about the room and the mold issue, I was told all rooms were booked however there were more than half the rooms empty all night. I would recommend staying at another hotel there. The owners live on site, but were not accommodating when it came to getting another room. All other hotels were booked otherwise I would’ve stayed elsewhere for sure. I took pictures of how back the mold issue in the room was also.

The lemon yellow and sherbet green walls will always come to your mind when you think of the Douglas Inn. Rooms are dated but they are clean and the price is good when compared to everything else in the area
